Join us for Alliance Sports Camp 2024, where we'll Start The Party together each day with fun sports, music, Bible teaching, and more! Read below for all the details about this year's sports, volunteer opportunities, and the theme for our rallies.
Registration
Registration will open at 9am on Wednesday, May 1st. Please read below for details on registration this year, as some things have changed.
Who can register? Any kids entering Kindergarten-5th grade in the 2024-25 school year are welcome to join us at Alliance Sports Camp! We will do our best to accommodate anyone with special needs; just let us know how we can support your family on the registration form.
What sports are being offered? Each child registering will choose one sport out of our diverse options to participate in all week long. Click below for the current list of sports and which grades can participate in each one, which has been updated for 2024:
How will registration work? Registration will be open from 9am on Wednesday, May 1st through midnight on June 30. Some sports like NinjaFit and Robot Olympics tend to fill up fast. Please read the note below for how we are handling registration for these sports this year, which is different from past years.

Volunteer
We need a huge team of more than 200 volunteers in a variety of roles to make the camp a success each year. Opportunities exist for both students (6th-12th grade) and adults to serve in many different ways behind the scenes, on the stage, on the sports field, and in small groups of kids. We welcome volunteers both from the State College Alliance Church congregation and from across the community too.

Alliance Sports CAmp 2024 Theme
At State College Alliance Church, we believe we have a lot to celebrate! Whether we are just learning who Jesus is and what the Bible says about him or have been following him for years, we can always be thankful for the good thing in our lives and celebrate together the Good News of God's love for us!
So for this year's Alliance Sports Camp, we will START THE PARTY each day as we explore teaching form the Bible about some of the great reasons we have to celebrate, like life, friendship, belonging, forgiveness, purpose, and more.
We will learn...
JESUS is a good reason to have a party!
EVERYONE is invited to the party!
We should CELEBRATE the good news!
Jesus is the LIFE of the party!
YOU can be a party starter!
This year's Bible memory verse will celebrate the joy we can find in the good news of Jesus: "You always show me the path that leads to life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you." Acts 2:28, NIrV
We hope that this year's camp will help everyone, both kids and volunteers, find joy in these big ideas of faith, love, and purpose as we celebrate what God is doing in and around each of us.
