Community Groups

Our Community Groups are small groups of people where we find a place to belong within the body of Christ by pursuing significant, Christ-centered relationships. Those groups look very different from each other, but within each group, we are seeking all three aspects of our church’s purpose:


Worship—through prayer and Bible study

Belong—through friendship, sharing, support, and accountability

Serve—through invitation, hospitality, evangelism, and simple acts of service

20/30 connect

Mission:  To provide an intentional community where all 20- and 30-somethings are invited to fall more deeply in love with Jesus, to connect and grow in relationship with one another, and to find entryways into loving and serving our broader church family.


We are a place for marrieds, singles, young professionals, grad students, etc. in their 20's/30's to experience connection through monthly social events.  Various Community Groups also exist to build deeper relationships in smaller groups that meet on a weekly basis.

Women's ministry

We are a multi-generational ministry, coming together in life-giving and transformative relationships as we pursue wholeness in Christ, equipping and empowering women to build the Kingdom of God in State College Alliance Church and our community. God is doing some great things in our Women’s Ministry and we would love for you to join us!

Men's Ministry

Men's Ministry exists primarily through a handful of men's Community Groups, including BSF and several morning groups, as well as through various service projects that our men undertake together. We are grateful for the many ways, formal and informal, that our men are growing and serving alongside each other, while we look forward to continuing to more intentionally develop opportunities for our men to connect with each other.

Seniors | Prime timers

Prime Timers is a ministry geared towards connecting individuals in their mature years, while focusing on providing the opportunity to fellowship with God and each other.
