We love celebrating with families as they dedicate their children to the Lord. A Child Dedication is a special moment in our Sunday service where parents publicly commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus, and our church family commits to support them along the way. While Child Dedication is not the same as baptism, it reflects a desire to lay a spiritual foundation that may one day lead to a personal decision to follow Christ. As a church, we practice believer’s baptism—you can learn more on our Baptism page.
What to Expect
Parents are invited to bring their child(ren) forward during a worship service.
The pastor will read Scripture and ask parents to affirm simple commitments of faith and guidance.
The congregation will also be invited to stand in support, affirming our role as a church family.
Extended family and friends are always welcome to attend and celebrate.
When Do We Hold Child Dedications?
We currently plan child dedications three times a year:
Mother’s Day
Father’s Day
Around Thanksgiving
