AWAKE Student Ministry exists to help students become exposed to, experience, and express Christ, His kingdom and the biblical purposes of His church. Our passionate leaders are here to help students navigate the treacherous and transformative waters of the teenage years with the goal of keeping our eyes fixed on Christ.

THURSDAY NIGHTS KICKING-OFF SEPT 2 

645-845pm for all 6^th-12^th Grade Students

FOCUS: The Spirit-Filled Life // What is the Holy Spirit?

LOCATION: Gym

Enter through the Gym Lobby to check-in and enjoy some time in the gym! Later in the evening we will gather for a time of worship through music, prayer, scripture reading, and stories. We will host bible teaching with a live message combined with video teaching from Francis Chan. We end the night with a time of connecting in small groups for discussion and prayer. As we unpack ancient truths, students and leaders can expect to grow in their understanding of the promise of the Holy Spirit, their need for the Holy Spirit, and the freedom that comes from dwelling in the kingdom of God while relying on the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

SUNDAY MORNING AWAKE GATHERING KICK-OFF SEPT 5

9-10am for all 6^th-12^th Grade Students

FOCUS: The Gospel & Narnia

LOCATION: All Purpose Room (APR)

Hey students in 6th-12th grade! Sunday mornings are here, and I am pumped for this gathering. We will be bolstering our understanding of the gospel and the kingdom of God as portrayed through the lens of the Narnia series. Students will have the opportunity to engage with scripture and the stories of Narnia through creative arts, story listening, bible teaching, discussion, and practical application of gospel truths and promises as we engage with the beautiful story from CS Lewis. As old and new testament truths come to life, students and leaders in this gathering can expect to grow in their understanding who God is, who we are in Him, and how we are called to dwell in His kingdom on earth today.
