As the church continues offering more opportunities for in-person gathering, we are excited to do the same with our Alliance Kids ministries. Starting on April 18 we will be following the lead of "big church" and moving our preschool through preteen ministries to be primarily outdoors. We hope that this will allow even more of our Alliance Kids family to regather, including kids and leaders who aren't ready for indoor gatherings. More details on our outdoor kids ministry will be posted here soon and communicated by email.
The weekly Alliance Kids @ Home materials will continue to be posted, but Virtual Small Groups and the Take Home Kits will be paused so we can focus on our in-person gatherings.
During the 10:00 Sunday morning gathering, we are hosting our First Look preschool, Route 252 elementary, and 4th-6th grade preteen ministries outdoors. These ministries help teach kids understand what the Bible says and how they can live their lives for Jesus every day.
For more information about what in-person Alliance Kids Sunday morning ministries look like under current COVID-19 guidelines, read through the details linked below.
For those who are still worshiping primarily from home, we will be sharing weekly resources on the "Alliance Kids @ Home" page. We hope that these resources, featuring age-appropriate video music, skits, and teaching, and parent discussion guides will help keep kids growing in their faith and equip parents to confidently disciple their kids.
This page also has some great resources on how to navigate anxiety and stress in your family through this season.
Our AWANA Club for pre-school through 6th grade will be resuming for 2021 on January 10th! Whether you attend State College Alliance Church or not, you are welcome to join us from 6:00-7:30 on Sunday nights for a time of fun, teaching, and Bible memorization.
