As the church resumes the process of turning up the "dimmer" on reopening, we are thrilled to begin welcoming kids back to church on Sunday mornings. At the same time we hope to continue to build community with those of you who would prefer to remain at home. Our plan for the month of February is:
- In-person ministry for preschool, elementary, and preteen will restart but move to the 10:00am service.
- February Alliance Kids @ Home kits will be in the box to pick up by February 4th.
- Details for virtual small groups are still being finalized. Keep an eye on the Alliance Kids @ Home page and your inbox for the latest information.
During the 10:00 Sunday morning gathering, we are hosting our First Look preschool, Route 252 elementary, and 4th-6th grade preteen ministries. These ministries help teach kids understand what the Bible says and how they can live their lives for Jesus every day.
For more information about what in-person Alliance Kids Sunday morning ministries look like under current COVID-19 guidelines, read through the current safety plan linked below.
For those who are still worshiping primarily from home, we will be sharing weekly resources on the "Alliance Kids @ Home" page. We hope that these resources, featuring age-appropriate video music, skits, and teaching, and parent discussion guides will help keep kids growing in their faith and equip parents to confidently disciple their kids. You can also get information on that page about take home kits and our Virtual Small Groups!
This page also has some great resources on how to navigate anxiety and stress in your family through this season.
Our AWANA Club for pre-school through 6th grade will be resuming for 2021 on January 10th! Whether you attend State College Alliance Church or not, you are welcome to join us from 6:00-7:30 on Sunday nights for a time of fun, teaching, and Bible memorization.
