Alliance Sports CAmp 2022

July 25-29

Kindergarten-5th Grade

Join us for Alliance Sports Camp 2022, where we'll be "Making Waves" through sports, music, Bible teaching, and more! Read below for all the details about this year's sports, volunteer opportunities, and the theme for our rallies.

Health and Safety Update

It takes an army of more than 150 volunteers to make Alliance Sports Camp happen each year! Roles are available both for youth (entering 6th grade and up) and adults, and both for those who love sports and those who don't. We also welcome volunteers from across the community, not just members of State College Alliance Church, so please invite friends, neighbors, and others who may be interested in helping.

Please note that we have most of our roles filled and are just looking for a few final huddle coaches/runners, one more soccer coach, and a few support roles.

Childcare is available for parents of kids too young to participate in the camp.

2022 Theme

At State College Alliance Church, we believe that each of us was placed by God in exactly the right time and place to make a difference in the world around us. With God's help, we can learn to follow Jesus' example, love others better, and achieve the big purposes that He has for us. At this year's Alliance Sports Camp, we will be learning how we can "Make Waves" by discovering that:

God made people with a purpose,

Jesus invited people to follow him,

You can trust Jesus with your life,

You should Love others the way Jesus loves you,

God can help you change the world around you!

This year's Bible memory verse continues the beach theme in John 7:38, in which Jesus says "Whoever believes in me ... rivers of living water will flow from within them."

We hope that this year's camp will help everyone, both kids and volunteers, learn more about these big ideas of purpose, trust, and love for others, and that we'll all leave the camp ready to "Make Waves" in our family, neighborhood, school, and workplace.
