We are excited to invite kids from across the community to participate in Alliance Sports Camp 2020! During the camp, kids will learn sports skills and enjoy semi-competitive games with excellent coaches, while learning valuable lessons about how we can "Focus" our lives better on God and His Word. Whether your child is a budding athlete or just loves singing, dancing, and playing with good friends, there is a place at Alliance Sports Camp for them!
Registration is now closed. We will not be using a wait list this year since there are so many added complexities and hard caps on attendance numbers.
If you have any questions or concerns about your registration, please email Bill Jester (email@example.com)
Alliance Sports Camp needs a team of over 200 volunteers to function. There are opportunities to help both for those who love sports and those who don't, and for those who like to serve directly with kids or more behind the scenes. Students entering 6th grade up and adults of all ages are needed, and we welcome volunteers whether they attend State College Alliance Church or not.
Most volunteers will be asked to serve only one of the two sessions (AM or PM).
Childcare is available during the AM session for kids of volunteers who are not old enough to participate in the camp. Let us know when you apply if you need this!
To apply as a volunteer, fill out the form linked below.
We love all the great things that happen on the courts, mats, and sports fields at Alliance Sports Camp but also take time to teach some important life lessons in our Rally Times each day! This year we will FOCUS on hearing from God, praying to God, and living for God as we explore topics like creation, prayer, and Jesus' teaching on loving one another.
We are also excited to be bringing the FOCUS theme to our Sunday morning pre-school and elementary ministries this summer, social-distancing permitting of course. Kids can join us before and after Alliance Sports Camp to learn how to FOCUS on God all summer long!
Memory Verse: "Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And He is the one who completes the journey of faith." -- Hebrews 12:2A, NIrV
